Feb 20, 2017 I thought I needed this for nights on call so it would wake me. But if your smart phone will not vibrate solid for a full 4 seconds it will never work. I changed my Samsung phone to the longest vibrate possible and it didn't see it. Just download an obnoxious tone. How to change your ringtone
- Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
- Scroll to the Sounds and Vibrations Patterns section, then tap the sound that you want to change.
- Tap the name of a ringtone or alert tone to hear it play and set it as the new sound.

Redownload tones that you purchased with your Apple ID

I’ve always manually managed music and videos by dragging and dropping them into the iPhone through iTunes. And I did that for ringtones as well but for some reason this time when I drag and drop my ringtones to the iPhone, they appear in the iPhone, they appear in the iPhone’s Tones folder but they are greyed out with dotted circle beside them.
